My name is Rasmus Hamann.I am a Creative Strategist anda full time cruiser.

Work experience

For the past 16 years, I have worked within the field of marketing and branding. Short resume:
  • Founder and CEO of Knowhtheirname - Advertising agency with offices in Denmark and Germany.
  • Creative Director and Partner at Uagency - Communication and marketing agency (merger between Knowtheirname and Ucommunicate)
  • Executive Director at dentsu X - an international media and content agency.
  • Business Partner and Creative Director at Mindshare - A global media agency network spread across 86 countries.

And now I work freelance as a creative and strategic consultant. I help companies develop and execute everything from big creative campaigns, social media advertising, influencer marketing and content creation.

Sailing experience

I've been living the nomad cruising life with my wife Anne for almost 3 years now. We left Denmark in June 2022, spent two years in the Med, crossed the Atlantic in December 2024 from Cape Verde -> Barbados with a bunch of amazing buddy boats, and are now cruising the Caribbean.

Before that we lived onboard our Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 423 in freezing Denmark for two years.
